The General Services Administration is the division of the Federal Government that manages capital expenditures such as equipment and property acquisition,  maintenance of government property, and human resources (HR) and information technology – all the departments that make the government run.

French Camp is the home base for the GSA fire fighting crew in Northern California.  They manage food, equipment and other supplies that are needed to keep the camp running smoothly.  Since the Federal Government uses CheckMate in so many locations, when the French Camp location decided they needed to automate the tracking of their inventory, they called upon the CheckMate Stockroom program.  CheckMate keeps track of their purchases, current inventory, and assures that they know when they need to re-order.  It was simple to install and easy to use, which is key for their crew.
